Our Story

Unite for Youth is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization structured to aid and assist young African-American males ages 12 – 19 years old off the streets, in school, and into the work place. UFY provides mentoring for at risk middle and high school youth in the Metro Atlanta area. Our program has created partnerships with the local school districts and communities in the Metro Atlanta Area.  UFY provides a school-based curriculum, youth leadership opportunities, positive out-of school activities, and individualized mentoring. Unite for Youth’s objectives are:

• To reduce negative behaviors, school expulsions and withdrawals, recidivism rates, and gang involvement
• To increase pro-social behaviors, school readiness and success, college access, and opportunities for happy, productive futures.

Unite for Youth matches a caring adult volunteer with a referred youth. Unite for Youth will setup four distinct mentoring programs.
